The 10th installment of the Japanese Narrow Buildings series features two shops located near the Ueno Station.
I especially like the design of the left one, with the vertical red stripe, that seems made to emphasize the “thinness” of the building.

In the 9th installment of the Japanese narrow buildings series, let’s visit Chuo-ku, on the banks of the Sumida river, where groups of small buildings give the area a certain charm…

… and your attention is relentlessly drawn to a narrow 5 stories building, not wider than 2 meters…

I don’t know how it is to actually live in one of these buildings, but, at least from outside, I very much like them… ![]()
