Shopping in Akihabara

Coming back in Akihabara for the third year in a row, I’ve experienced the same feeling like the first time: many nice and joyful people.
The commercials changed (I immediately noticed Sebastian from Kuroshitsuji), the Yodobashi Camera mascot…

However, I detected a subtle change in the meido’s (the maid cafe girls) behavior, this year they’re more… cooperative. Some of them even posed for my camera and some of them offered me leaflets, which never happened before, when they were inviting only Japanese boys. Probably because of the economic downturn…

Akihabara
Beware, however, before “attacking” them with your cameras, don’t forget that I’m a girl… I do not guarantee that you’ll encounter the same level of understanding… :p

Despre kami in Kannagi

Revin la Kannagi, la ultimele două episoade, care mi-au atras atenţia asupra unui aspect al religiei shinto care ar merita accentuat. Este vorba de faptul că fiecare altar shinto este închinat unui anumit kami. Sunt destul de mulţi kami, unii cunoscuţi, care au multe altare, răspândite în toată Japonia, alţii locali. De aceea, la anumite sărbători trebuie să mergi la anumite altare.

Nagi

Nagi este un kami local, care a avut un singur altar. De aceea, atunci când altarul a ars şi documentele au fost distruse, informaţiile nu au mai existat în altă parte. Iar în timp, oameni au uitat ce kami care era venerat în acel altar.
