Casual sightseeing in Tokyo - Inari Shrine in Akihabara
By Muza-chan on Jun 5, 2009 | In Japan travel | 4 feedbacks »
Deviating from the usual tourist routes in Akihabara, I discovered this small Inari Shrine, a jewel hidden among the high buildings, somewhere behind the Ishimaru store.
If you have the opportunity and you wish to visit, here is the Google Maps location:

Akiba mikoshi
By Muza-chan on Apr 28, 2009 | In Anime & Otaku | Send feedback »
Last sunday, in Akihabara, an “otaku matsuri” took place. As with any matsuri, a portable shrine (mikoshi) was carried, covered with otaku decorations: a laptop, a vacuum tube, video games, software kits, manga, anime figures, cellphones, iPods and a robot on top.
The Akiba mikoshi was carried by girls dressed as maid. ![]()

Am aflat de la JapanProbe.
