I shot this photo on a hot summer afternoon, on the shores of Sumida River.
The clouds, reflected on the beer glass building, made me forget, for a few moments, about the scorching sun.

I loved your observation about "beer glasses" What a hoot and you are right...it DOES look like beer glass.....very cool.

Hey, nobody here ever calls it the "beer glass" -- EVERY Tokyoite calls it "the golden turd" (kin no unchi).... Because the word UNCHI has the word UN meaning "good luck" at the beginning.
