Great photos; it's always a treat to actually be able to see Fuji-san from Tokyo, especially in the summer time. Getting the ferris wheel in the shot was a nice touch, too. :)

Thank you all!
Indeed, I wasn't being very optimistic about my chances to see Fuji-san from Tokyo, but I got really lucky and I was at the right time at the right place... :D

On my first trip to Tokyo I did get to see Mt. Fuji from Tokyo. Later we were told that Winter, when we were there, was the best time as summer is usually rainy and cloudy.

Yes, exactly, I was told that too! :)

From where did you see the mountain?

"Fuji is there for everyone and yet, soaring into eternity, stands for something beyond any man's grasp," wrote Fukada Kyuya in Nihon Hyakumeizan. I'm glad to see here that Fuji-san was there for you too!
