About kawaii - Fukurou Koban, a kawaii police station

I wrote some time ago that a character is often considered kawaii if it has a big head, big eyes, curved head and body, small (or missing) mouth, etc…

If those rules are followed, can we apply the kawaii concept to a… police station? :p

Fukurou Koban Ikebukuro

… like this koban (police box), located near the entrance of the Ikebukuro Station.

The name of the building comes from the similarity to an owl’s head, Fukurou Koban (Owls Police Box).

It's a cute concept for Japan, but I don't think it would work well over here in the states. Especially here in Texas, would have to be more on a Cowboy theme.
