I saw the turtle hiding in the lilly pads. And also what is the statue w/the 3 figures praying called? Another great photo shoot. You have a n amazing talent for capturing all the beauty of what ever you do. :photo: :thumb:

@whipcracker: Those are Jizo statues. Jizo are bodhisattva and they are there to comfort the souls of unborn children.

Looks like a fantastic place! Reminds me a little of Shoren-In in the Northern Higashiyama area in Kyoto, it also had fantastic gardens and was such a peaceful place - I didn't want to leave!
