Casual sightseeing in Tokyo - Bandai's less known Gundam statue

Everybody’s talking about the Gundam statue raised by Bandai in Odaiba (of course, I’m looking forward to my photo-shooting session, during the next days), but nobody wrote about the new SD Gundam statue (chibi) in front of Bandai’s Headquarters in Asakusa.

I discovered it today, while I was taking a stroll through my favourite places in Asakusa, and I’m wondering when it was installed, because until now I haven’t found any information about it.

Oh it is soooo cute! They are making a huge Testujin in Kobe...I don't remember when it is supposed to finished (right now the head is done) but you should come visit Kobe someday too!

That cute little guy was their mascot for the mini-Gundam Festa in Ikebukuro last summer. He was outside the inner doors to the Toyota Amlux building for a few days leading up to the festa, and then he was installed in the festa itself.
